I've just discovered a useful service provided by the state. Imagine that!

Go to
http://www.hsmv.state.fl.us/, which is the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. When you get there, click on "Emergency Contact Information", which is in the center of the page. It will lead you to another page that will give you the opportunity to register two emergency contact persons against your Florida Driver's License number. Should an emergency ever occur and the responding officer has your License number, he or she can immediately call up your emergency contact info. Hope none of us ever needs it, but it sounds like a good deal to me.
Check it out. I saw this today on the Channel 13 local news.
Healthcare Equipment
Knox Parlor's closet contains walkers, crouches, canes and wheelchairs that can be borrowed by any church member. So if you are having some surgery and in need of some of this equipment for a few days, help yourselves.
