Joe Morgan recently joined a medical and humanitarian team with the Global Hope Network International and the Doctors’ Goodwill Foundation for a 10-day visit to Brazil traveling on a medical boat on the 3,000-mile fresh water Amazon River, Brazil, South America.  Joe worked with a team of 24 people from around central Florida.  Traveling day and night on a small boat, sleeping in close quarters in bunk beds, & eating each meal together, brought the team together like a family.

One of my greatest joys says Joe, was to visit with the children in the villages and pass out ‘chewing gum’.  Many young mothers and their small children came aboard the medical boat for general check-ups, dental checks, and free worm and baby medicine.
